Well Robusk, I feel I fell into same thought process as yourself. I thought 17-18 players would be overvalued and I would be very happy with my two 2nd round picks. Instead I'm sitting here thinking I could have stayed pat an gotten Dwight and Chauncey.
I think Oladipo will provide the scoring I need and pairing him with Chauncey provides some good guard defense.

People need to stop sleeping on these 17-18 seasons, they are going to miss out in the late 3rd and early 4th!

I just know robusk will have a field day with my current line up... I know I have a wicked amount of usage, I just couldn’t pass up the value of Dr. J in the mid-third round... Don’t be surprised if one of my super scorers is the 6th man of the year. Not saying that’s my plan, but absolutely possible depending how the rest of the draft goes.

I can 100% say that Dr. J was no where on my radar going into my third pick. Honestly I was hoping to put Bill Russell next to the Admrial but he was snagged the pick before me...

It all depends on usage points. You need to have 10 on the floor at all times.

but at that level you will probably trigger the individual penalty and get suppressed FG% and more TOs

I think I'm going "Parish" in RD1 next season. I think in the 52, it is best to take to best player available and make it work in the end. In the ODL, I think it is good to have a plan even if that means your "best player" is Tom Boerwinkle or whatever

Tbh, I’m not sure I can make the $ work either but I figured I’d swing for the fences and take the small % chance that I can win a title with his as my third banana as opposed to close to a 0% chance of winning if I played it safe.

Yeah Gilmore seems like worth the risk in the 3rd

I'll try and get something written up for rounds 3 and 4 tomorrow.
