dBKC, one question about this rule:

"The 10 other roster spots can be filled with ANY player in NBA history aside from the players in this draft pool."

Does this mean we can't use the specific seasons in the draft pool, or that we can't use any season of the guys who have a season in the draft pool?

Any. Good question. So no Bill Cartwrights aside from the one on Sephy’s team, no Antwan Jamison aside from the one on Ben’s team, etc. The only versions of those guys will be the ones drafted in this draft. Just because the whole idea of the league is that no one ever wants these guys and now we’re forced to make them play to give the fans the All-Stars they never get to see.

If multiple people disagree with this though I’m open to changing it.

Makes sense to me. It will be a bit of a pain in putting the team together to make sure we don't accidentally plug one of those guys in somewhere - and an even bigger pain for the guy who has to check each roster for each of 60 excluded players ;)

If it gets that bad, I can post the list of eligible players for the other roster spots. I don’t think it will get there though.

If people are using spreadsheets, it might be worth pointing out that Houston and Jamison both have their first names misspelled in the original list.

Alright I have a list of 11 guys I wouldn't mind having with 16 picks to go until mine. Given that people's draft boards are likely to be dramatically different I feel pretty good about that.

Robusk, yes, tarheel is right. Just had knee replaced a couple days ago and sitting around looking for some good distractions. Just excited for something to do. I would never complain about someone's time to make a pick. Negative thinking and whining helps nothing, plus you never know what situation someone is in. For example, I am ready now, but I may overdo the pain meds and fall asleep and hold up the draft. It's all good. I am just excited for some stuff to do and occupy my time. Sorry you took it as a negative.
