I’m banking on a few guys falling due to the 19-20 drops. I think I’ll be alright. Having an elite defense with two 30+ DRB% guys was too tempting to pass up.

Also I was so bummed about missing out on Nash that I didn't even realize Kidd was still there - totally should have taken him over Simmons.

Here is my hot take: Neither Steve Nash or Ben Simmons belong in the 2nd round, let alone picked before Kidd

There are still 2-3 PGs I would draft before thinking of Nash and Simmons

You work too slow. A whole week goes by and a roster of 3. Not as efficient as you may think.

When Shaq is your least efficient scorer then you might be on to something

I went back and forth on Kidd over the last couple of years.

I underestimated the number of 3PM from Kidd. Getting almost 200 from a 1 pt usage guy who also solves your passing needs is really nice. I used to think Nash was better because of the scoring/near 60 eFG%, but Kidd wins out on account of threes, defense and DReb%.

He's also a very nice fit with Kareem, who excels on O boards but not so much on D boards.
