I'll join with the "Say it so, Joe" team - every player has the first name of Joe

No Brooklyn Bridegrooms.  There's only 12 teams with alliterative nicknames, and while I did use 7 of those, some of them made it very hard since they had only a few seasons, like the Syracuse Stars or Chicago Colts.  There's also a team called the Columbus Colts that appears in the franchise listing, but there are zero WIS-eligible players for that team.  Weird.

Can I have a second team? I'd like to do the "A Team" everybody has fielding and range of ATLEAST an A-. Also, flak, if you could do that team, that'd be amazing
If we slow down considerably I'll allow a second team, but for now I'd rather keep it one team per owner while the momentum is strong.

I am going to try the "Six degrees of Pete Rose" theme. All players on my roster must have been teammates or managed at some point by Pete Rose.Pete Rose must be on my team.

Columbus Colts were an American Association team during the 1883 and 1884 seasons

I remembered Phil Knell played for a Columbus team, but wasn't a Colt. He was kind of a cookie many updates ago...

"Pedro got it Twisted"

Pedro's #45 is now proudly displayed on the right field facade at Fenway.
I would like to enter a roster consisting of players that were, at some point in their career, a teammate of the greatest right handed pitcher ever.

Barry Larkin, Larry Walker, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, and Jeff Bagwell can sit down. They will not be on the roster.

I'll call you my daddy and go eat a mango while waiting for word on whether this theme is acceptable.

What did Larkin do? Walker? Hopefully Larry isn't accused of roid use...I know the guy. He didn't need it. A freaking lumberjack in a baseball uniform. A hockey player with cleats...

I was on cloud 9 the day he got traded to STL. TLR put him in the 2 hole ahead of Albert, Edmonds and Rolen...

What were the Dodgers thinking when they traded Pedro?
7/28/2015 10:54 PM
Obviously the Dodgers were thinking that Delino DeShields would become a dominant, Hall-worthy second baseman.  <chuckle>

To answer the first question; Barry struck out. As did Larry, Sammy, Mark, and Jeff in Pedro's amazing '99 All-Star game performance at Fenway.
Come to think of it, Ted Williams threw out the ceremonial first pitch in that game. Would that qualify Teddy Ballgame as a Pedro teammate?
