Grant Hill is kind of a rich man's Billy Cunningham.  His efg% is a little better but his usage is higher, and he has the same appealing shiny aspects.

I wanted to trade up to draft him, but nobody bit, and he ended up falling to me anyways. I was also really surprised Weatherspoon almost made it to me in the 5th.
i was counting on him and thought he'd be there since he wasn't drafted at all last time.

that Teague season is clean and has an 80 D - nice find
7/2/2015 4:11 PM
Probably the only concern is the high usage with just 50 efg%. But I can live with it for everything else he brings.

98 has some work to do now! The punishment for winning the title...

that emeka season is a jewel of a find in the 6th round of the 52m! a true geologist u r. nice looking frontcourt with some efg%, some D, some dimes, and boards!

solid packaging around lebron. looks like a tough out. A- (the minus, cuz, maybe... westphal can't come up with enough dimes to cover the shortage when lebron takes a blow)

penn did one eval... i did one... cope?

Guess I'll do my own eval.

Kareem at 3 is a little higher than I've seen him go in previous drafts but his efg% was needed to offset the very marginal efg% of my later planned Haywood pick. I'm
betting that the shunning of Spencer has been overdone. He offers a low foul rate, and is pretty close to a top notch rebounder. Haywood gets  to the line and just as importantly, makes his FTs. He is a better than average defender who goes a full 48 so he basically serves as a nice quality sub for himself. He is surrounded by high usage, pretty efficient players so his usage should be suppressed somewhat. This should help cover his questionable efficiency. Bobby Jones does his great defense, high efficiency thing although he is a bit foul prone. DWill as a late 2 was pretty early, but a run on PGs was beginning the threaten and did not think he would be there on the turn.  Deron and Moore are high assist PGs who will hopefully boost Spencer's efg% above 50%. Eddie Jones D helps support Dwill's not-as-good D and  his 3 's help round out the offense.  Anderson's backup D and offensive rebounding was a nice find at 140. I think this team will find itself a little short on defensive rebounding. Playoffs could revive Haywood's career at the dh52 and he will rightfully have a big say  on this matter. I'm going to say 5 games either side of .500.

If 98 is really going to be "that guy" and not do the evals, I will see what I can do over the next few days in terms of evaluating teams.
7/4/2015 10:21 AM
The surprise of the draft is the players left on the board (and too expensive to add post draft). 14/15 Kyle Korver? Charlie Edge?
7/4/2015 10:54 AM
I almost took Edge to back up Weathersoon and the SG position. But I wanted more assists, 3's and usage. In this league I like extra high quality usage of of the bench. So George Hill seemed like a great fit. I'm sure he will get drafted in the 6th round from now on. Kover is such a poor rebounder that he hurts you in this league.
7/4/2015 2:34 PM
Okay scud tell us which version of Wilt are you using? I think that you team's rebounding is a bit weak at SF.
