I wanted to trade up to draft him, but nobody bit, and he ended up falling to me anyways. I was also really surprised Weatherspoon almost made it to me in the 5th.

ahh the great tease grant hill...with his flashy ast% and dreb% at the 3...he couldnt wait to take a big ol sh!t over everything good you were doing with your first 3 picks

cp3/mcadoo/mason is a great start(tho i probably would have gambled on getting mason in the 4th)...you have your 1/2 scoring punch, plenty of ast%, good dreb%, good d and you had a great start on being elite at something in this league(tov%)....roundfield hurts your tos/fls but hes actually a really nice pick if you use the right season and play him in the right position...i liked the start of this team...but grant hill ruins everything...i have no idea why you felt forced to pick him...no one should be forced to pick grant hill....unless at gunpoint

but hey..this is only like the 37th time ive slammed grant hill in an eval or comment...im bound to be wrong one of these times..beware the doom of grant hill

Nope well said. Grant Hill's high usage and low efg killed my team last season. And is defense is low as well as his FT%. Maybe in some type of high usage theme & low efg% where all of he players on your team had to add up to over 120 and nobody over 52 EFG% would I consider him. Hey anybody want to run a theme league like that???

Hey, I knew/know the risks. I'm planning on playing him about half of his mins at SG, depending on the rest of the draft plays out, maybe all of his mins at SG. My current starting lineup has 106% Dreb & 36% oreb. Also, depending on how things play out in the draft, I will have close to 30 mins with a total ast% over 100- possibly more, possibly less.. my TOs actually aren't that bad & I have a bunch of FTAs at a pretty decent %. As far as who was available, there really were very if any viable options with a higher D AND higher efg... and I obviously got dazzled by the ast/dreb #s.
