I have a team that lost in the WS in one league who got to advance to the TOC.  I had another team win the WS and only the runner up went to the TOC.  Does anyone know of a reason for this?

Did your World Series winning team go into a different TOC based on their salary cap? Sometimes teams from the same league will go to different TOCs based on their team salary. That's the only thing I can think of.

Nope.  The league that I was runner up in says "Both teams will be moving on to the Tournament Of Champions for a chance to win up to $150 in Rewards Points." and the other league says "The league's runner-up will be moving on to the Tournament Of Champions for a chance to win up to $150 in Rewards Points." The league that I did get in the TOC with is a 80 mil career league and the other is a 80 mil open league.  I did not get in in another TOC. Just think that it is strange and wanted to know if this was common before I asked admin.  I noticed another owner had 2 teams in the same TOC, so thats not it.

Different TOC's.   The open league has aaa players on your roster.  Their "real-life" salary probably bumped it up to either a 90 or 100 mil TOC

Was the excluded team a free "promo" team?  If so, perhaps they're ineligible for TOCs?

No, both teams were paid teams.  Both teams had aaa,  everything was the same except one was a career league format (which made the TOC) and the other was a standard OL team.

Both teams should have made it. I'd contact Administration and at least try to get an explanation.

Does the runner-up in the TOC get anything?

Yes...150 for the winner, 50 for runner-up, 25 each for 3-4.

Do career league teams go in to the same TOC as the others?

My career league team made it into what seems like other 80m teams

Aaron,

Thank you for pointing this out. We have discovered and corrected the issue and your TOC team should now be available.
