1962......Clearwater Harvey Wall Bangers

I hope we're aligned geographically. Some nice rivalries "brewing" on the Gulf Coast!

That was not the plan (see description) - was going to go with random, but willing to have all owners vote on it once we are full. 

Good Afternoon Professor, I realize I will be a weak link in this league but I will try and do my best to be competitive so in my tribute to the old Pacific Coast League I will go with the Sacramento Solons in the year of 1973.  Hope you consider me despite my shaky overall record.

I will go with 1949 for no other reason than I was born then.   I will manage the Rocklin Old-Timers.

I will name my team "Glasgow Smiles."  Just to be a bit morbid.

1966 please. Great Falls Rafters

Welcome frankallen - trust me, my teams are ALWAYS the weak link in theme leagues. Welcome all - we are up to 13 now. 

Can't wait to see the lineups and rotations. Just wanted to give a chance to use some very good players who had good seasons but not good enough to be useful in most OLs, or whose use in progressives by necessity includes weak seasons and sometimes overall careers that were not sterling. 

But some players had a key season in their careers and helped a team in a pennant race, and are remembered for that, or were all-stars just one or two years. So the teams here will be good, but not great, but hopefully the competition will be the latter.

im sorry but im feeling a bit over saturated with sim and im putting 1962 back in play.

Then I'll nab 1962 and do battle as the Cape Hatteras Lighthouses.  The mid-Atlantic needs some representation.

i'll jump in with 1957 and go by the Omaha Stormchasers  quite possibly the worst real life sports team nickname ever our mascot is a tornado with a baseball hat ugh but we have had great baseball the last 3 years as the K.C.  royals AAA farm club team

For sentimental reasons, I'll do 1959...,Canton(Ohio) Bulldogs

Cape Hatteras, Canton, Omaha, Poughkeepsie (little city of 38,000 or so on the Hudson River in New York State an hour north of NY by the way), Sacramento, Great Falls and the rest, and some remembered, some forgotten players of the epoch, without the usual superstar names. 

C'mon this is fun for a change. We are at 15, and almost there. And the starting rotations, lineups and the rest ought to be fun to see.
