$80 million cap, 20 teams in a four division 5/5/5/5 format with four playoff spots. 

CORRECTION AND UPDATE: DUE TO THE INTEREST WE HAVE EXPANDED TO 24 TEAMS IN A STANDARD 4/4/4 FORMAT WITH A WILDCARD. WE HAVE 2 MORE SPOTS LEFT - PLEASE RESERVE A SEASON HERE. 

You pick one season (exclusive - please reserve season here) from 1947-77 and ALL your players will come from that season. 

All batters must have AVG. below .300 and max. 25 HR.

All pitchers must have max. 240 IP, no ERA below 3.00 no WHIP below 1.25. 

All teams must use a city, region or state name that is has not been represented in MLB (non-US locales ok). All teams must use format: city, region or state name/plural team name (e.g.: "hurricanes" not "hurricane"). 

NO:  DH, WW, Trades, AAA. 

Just build a good team with good players from the bygone postwar era.

You  betcha - day games on the grass and a hot dog and a beer costs 50 cents. Well, maybe 75 cents. 

contrarian23, welcome, great to have you aboard. No need for anyone to name their team or city before posting the team, only reserving the season year is required. 

I'll take a team, if only to balance the political bent of the league.

We are happy to be balanced. Even fair. Seriously, it will great to have you in the league, pinotfan. A glass of wine is a dollar at the park though...

Our 1956 squad will locate itself in one of my favorite cities, as the Portland Beavers.

I'd like to join -- team TBA

Started to play around with a 1956 team early this morning, figured I'd put them in Portland. Scrap that! I suppose great minds think alike, ... and so do contrarian and I.

Back to the drawing board. Prof-- I'll jump back in if I get a little time to build another team.

I am torn between two seasons, but please count me in tbd in the meantime.
