Great league.  No cookies.  Try some new players.

Just a small sampling of last season:

best batting average: Melky Cabrera
most hr's: hack wilson
most sb: Ron LeFlore
 MVP's: Willie McCovey/ Ichiro Suzuki (now blacklisted)
Cy Youngs: Jake Weimer/Silver King (now blacklisted)
Fireman Award: Johnny Niggeling/Dick Hall (now blacklisted)

Plenty of diversity here.  I know, it's tough making you actually think when you put a team together......  :)

Come on, guys!  For all of the whining I hear about cookies, we should be filling TWO of these leagues!!!

I love restrictive leagues like this one, I get to discover players I might not have ever heard of before.  I will blacklist John Clarkson.

Great to have you.  You won't regret joining.  Building a roster in this league is fun, requires thought, and makes you use different players.  There are definitely different ways to win.

And don't be afraid if you've never done this type of league before. You can be VERY successful as a first timer.

Such a fun league with a great group of GMs!  Still not sure why it hasn't filled yet.

I think that, as much as people complain about cookies, some people are dependent upon them. I've done well with and without cookies and love the challenge.
