A really good piece from The Hardball Times:
There was once a group of people who thought the Earth was flat and they vastly outnumbered the people who knew the Earth was round. Somehow, we arrived in state in which everyone thinks the world is round. Did that happen because everyone read and observed carefully designed experiments or because members of the scientific community worked hard to make the evidence easy to understand?
