I admit I was very conflicted when I picked Jerry Lucas at the 2nd round. May I ask who may have been the better pick at my spot, instead of Jerry Lucas?
Kemp, reed, chandler
Lol , I had Chandler written right below Jerry Lucas at the proxy list. I had him right below because I was bit scared about his minutes and also because his usage was below Jerry Lucas. May be I should have reconsidered. Kemp, I had problems with last season as his foul rate was very high. Willis Reed, I felt was bit a reach. May be next time, I will try Kemp or Reed, or was there any other option?

Reed has been on a couple champions wilt teams

True. Thanks for the advice. I will consider Reed option if I end up in this position again.

A guy who does nothing but rebound would have been available later on.  I might have been tempted to take Deron or Chauncey, but a smarter move than that might have been to look for a Donyell or a Marion...a high-class supporting SF who provides good D and rebounding as well as some 3s to begin spacing out the offense.

Sadly, Chauncey and Marion were picked before it got to me at the 2nd round. Deron Williams, I should have considered but I was bit concerned about not having quality PF to pick during 4th or 5th round. May be I should have went Willis Reed + Deron/Donyell . Well, Live and learn.

To be clear, Lucas has been a second round staple in this league more often than not.  There's always someone who likes his combination of rebounding and efficiency and clean play in that certain season.

Ltb, is there a better guy still on the board to take over Amare? Seemed like I really needed the usage. I considered another guy that's 97% at pf that can rebound better and still score.
There's a bunch of bombers left for SG left, got a guy targeted in particular that should complete a good offensive team.

I'd personally take Lucas over all three. Kemp is the only one I'd think about, but his high fouls and TOs always scare me off.

Vance grabbed Leonard and now Elei is going to grab my guy right before me again....

Okay guys you tell me about the results of that trade. I am thinking that Deron Williams and Kawhi Leonard and way better players in this league than Steve Nash and Brent Barry. What are your thoughts?
vancem: I'm glad you like your 3rd and 4th picks. I'm thrilled with mine. I would have taken Deron if I'd stayed where I was in round 3. My pipe dream would have been Deron in the 3rd and Nash in the 4th. I'm pretty sure Nash would not have made it back to me in the 4th, either at my original spot or the spot I traded up for. I was targeting Barry, Marques Johnson, Gerald Wallace and Kawhi in the 4th. Now let's see if I can find a sf with 21usg, 55+ efg, 30+ crb, 80+ D, and fewer than 2 tos and pfs to fill out my roster. Wish me luck.

uptown, I KNEW you were going to take Cedric.  Amazing efficiency across the board now.

I wasnt sure if sly or amerk were interested in Mutombo, so I figured he was worth moving up to secure him. I like my Kidd-Barkley-Mutombo foundation.
And I would have definitely taken Dikembe if I didn't trade, so you made a good move
