Jerry Lucas's 71-72 season looks intriguing. It addresses the two weakness his 68-69 season have. Anyone with any advice regarding these two seasons of Jerry Lucas ?

When in doubt, follow established precedent, assuming it's successful.

I know that you guys hated the trade but how could I resist? Plus, it takes Deron Williams away from dh555 lol.

But, following established precedent usually is boring.

Better D, but notably less rebounding.in that 71-72 season.

Why would u draft jerry Lucas if your going to use 71-72???? Hed be worth a 5 th round pick for the 71-72 season

Why spend a second round pick for a role-player PF with 9/23 rebounding percentages?  You can get that guy later. Not worth 20 points of D (not sure what other weakness you're referring to) to sacrifice what makes 68-69 Lucas great - the combination of great rebounding and very high efg% with low fouls.  The assists are just a bonus.

It will all come down to what you guys leave me with. If I get really pressed for defense and usage, I may be forced to consider 71-72 . Hopefully I get other players which will let me use 68-69 .

sly just wondering why did you pick boerwinkle over player X who is simlar but  better than boerwinkle in every way except rebounding

I wasnt sure if sly or amerk were interested in Mutombo, so I figured he was worth moving up to secure him. I like my Kidd-Barkley-Mutombo foundation.

I already had Zo and Boerwinkle.  I thought about Mutombo at my Boerwinkle pick though.

Rebounding.  Also, I don't know who player x is.

Man, my 3rd round selection was a tuff one. Several players were in play, but loading Ibaka into the SF position, combined with his high Efg, and blocking gave him the edge. Stockton/Steph/Ibaka. This team could be special, but requires very carefully selected elements to round out the squad. If not, it turns into a disaster. Of course I won't let that happen. ;-).

gotta be noah

It is. I wanted boerwinkles superior rebounding to cover for mourning being weak on the glass. Plus I prefer a 1 usage point 50efg% over a 2 usage point player at 47efg%.
