I've never seen a box score like this.  Wondering if anybody else has...

Whoa.... lol.
Can't say that I've ever seen a half like that!

Also, that UCONN team has a guy named "Young China". Pretty strange.

It is crazy that they scored the 3 with 16:02 left and didn't score the rest of the game!

Certainly not something you see very often, but it has happened in the past. I know one of the guys in my Tark conference when I played in that world held an opponent to two points in a half. I also remember being on the single-digit side of things and wanting to jump from a tall window ledge the following morning when reading through the play by play.

What I don't get is why the back up PG/SG, Mike Borg, enters the game with 18:41 to play in the second half and NEVER exits thereafter.  It looks like Cincy was running the game with three guards rotating between the two spots.  In the first half the rotation seems to work for the most part with the starters (Halstead and Blaser) rotating in and out with Borg.  But in the second half, AFTER Borg enters the game, Halstead and Blaser just keep subbing in and out for each other.  So despite the fact that Borg is probably crawling on his hands and knees up and down the floor at the end of the game (he is listed as "tired" at the 7:20 mark and as "very tired" at the 3:42.  The computer never subs him out (and this accounts for all of his missed 3s, the traveling call with 2:19 to play and the double dribble in the back court with 2:01 to play.

Couple this with the fact that Cincy appears to have gone all in on Blaser and Borg for their scoring ... and with their fatigue came the lack of scoring.

Since there was no foul trouble or injuries, my guess is Cincy set their depth chart with 1. Halstead, 2. Borg,  3 & 4 Empty at the point, and 1. Blaser with 2,3,& 4 empty  at the SG spot.

One other point of interest ... the only other player to make a short 19 second appearance at the SG spot was Campbell, the starting center.  He slid over from C at 3:11 of the 1st Half and then Blaser subbed in for him at the 2:52 mark.

Cincinnati was 1 for 22...a scorching 4.5%

I remember a game, from several years back, that was 45-1 at halftime. I believe it was in D3 vs. a Sim team

I had a game a few seasons ago where each team had a single digit half. I was down something like 50-8 at the half and ended up losing 57-50. The final was about right; both teams ended up in the NT - the team I lost to was a bit better and I was on the road - but how the game played out was ridiculous.

Heck, even the winning team was 11-27 in that half. Brick city.

Referees probably tried to save them from the embarrassment and called a pity foul so they could earn a point at the line.
