If their bye week wasn't so early, I'd say right after that.    I doubt his first start will be on the road.   I'd go with Raiders at home(bypassing the Steelers and a road game).

My actual guess is Week 5.  2 weeks to get ready with the bye.  And I almost think it may be better to start on the road, away from Cleveland.  There may be less pressure that way.  But if Week 7 rolls around and Hoyer's still in, then Hoyer is playing better than I thought he would.

Smart decision. Cleveland's schedule is a little rough, then it's Jax, Oak, TB. Might as well let Hoyer get beat up until Manziel is ready.
