so,when are we going on the clock?

As the rules state, picks will be un-timed.  But I think eventually that might have to change.  I don't mind that the draft is slow, but I bet some get impatient, and at this rate it will take us 60 days to finish.

Here are four things that will help the draft move along:
1. Let us know when you know you will be gone for a long time
2. Always remember to sitemail the next 3 owners to pick
3. Don't be afraid to use proxies.  In your process of drafting a lot of you probably do this anyway. Pick 2 or 3 players the next player may pick and then who you would pick for each of those 2 or 3.  Then send a sitemail to either myself or the next owner picking (or anyone else really)
4. Imagine this IS a timed draft.  In a "regular" draft you have a time slot and there's usually not too much issue with people making their picks.  When you get the sitemail listing the next 3 owners give rougly 2 hours per owner.

Can you choose a player whose first name matches the previous player's LAST name, or vice versa?  For example, Frank Robinson - Robinson Cano ?

This is a good question and you're right, it would have come up. No, you can not match in this way. Always has to be initials matching initials, first name matching first name or last name matching last name.
