It is hard to fill a regular Career League. I think more people would play it, if there were an ADVANTAGE over Open League play like changing the Max Value Limit from $80M to $100M. In trying to promote this Theme league, I have been ask what is a Career League. For anyone else that is unfamiliar, it is where all MLB players Life (career) statics are converted to statics for a 162 game season.

Right now we have 23 owners out of 24 needed to start playing ball in MLB110040

The two owners from the 1st season have just won their 1st round in the TOC (3-1) over $80m & a$100m team. GL guys.

If you have never played a Career League, I will tell you it is easier to be competitive than in an Open League because the cookies are not as well known. Since there are not as many Career Leagues as Open Leagues. There are a lot of HOFers that has never played in a Career League. Also there are less players to chose from. TRY IT YOU MAY LIKE IT, this is one of the best ways possible. Come join us!

But how do you think they will do against other $100mil OL, theme league, and progressive league teams?

I hope we do fill this league quickly, here is my only issue: at this cap and with career stats, we're going to all have many of the same players. I'd love to see a career league with exclusive player ownership.

gbakker: after this one is filled I would play with you if you wanted to start a Theme League with through rules. You should remember to set the max limit of $100mil & no added AAA.

OK baby another three first timers for this league joined today. So we are filling faster than a $80mil "Career League".

gbakker: of the eleven teams that have filled their team out there are 109 different batters. That is 9.9 players for each team that are different from other teams batters. That means 3.1 batters are the same as some other teams batters.
