Where does it say kill picks can't have Monday night players?
Kill Pick Challenge:

1)Each player must submit to a list of 8 NFL defenders, most tackles is what we are looking for
2) Tiebreaker, give me a list of 5 NFL teams, most total yards of offense

Someone asked about the challenge and that was for Sunday but never anything on kill picks
The entire challenge was for Sunday games only.

With 419 yards by Denver, tropicana wins the tiebreaker.

tropicana, thebish, and nyaggie98 are eligible to be voted in to take on 2legit in the elimination challenge

Votes due by 8pm tonight

10/20/2014 7:30 AM
Thebish received 2 votes, so the elimination challenge will be thebish vs 2legit.  Challenge will be posted shortly.
10/20/2014 3:15 PM

For this elimination challenge, participants will have the option to choose between 2 sports.

Option 1:

MLB: Game 2 of the World Series will be played on Wednesday.  You will need to submit a real lineup 1-9 of hitters (including DH) using players from each team.  What that means is you can’t have Buster Posey in the LF spot.  You can use ANY player for the DH.  Players must play in the game at some point or you will get 25 pitches as there total.

What you are being scored on is the following:

We will take the total number of pitches seen by your lineup.

If the player gets an extra base hit, we will take off 4 pitches.

If the player commits an error, we will add 10 pitches.

We will take the total number of pitches and multiply by 5 to get your score.

Option 2:

NHL: There are 4 games in the NHL on Wednesday.  You will need to pick 1 player from each team playing.

What you will be scored on is the following:

I will take the time on the ice for each player.

If they score a goal, we will take 1 min off the time.

If they get an assist, we will take 45 seconds off the time.

If they get penalty mins, we will add it on

If a player does not play, they get 30 mins of ice time

We will take the total minutes and seconds of all the players and convert to seconds, then take the average number of seconds for the entire team

THE WINNER WILL BE THE PLAYER WITH THE LOWEST TOTAL
YOU ONLY NEED TO DO ONE OPTION

Deadline is 7pm Wednesday.

Tiebreakers:

1)      Total number of hits in SF/KC

2)      Total number of goals scored in NHL on Wednesday

Challenge was edited, just realized something was WAY OFF went I did the math to make either side possible.  Still not sure what I did and I threw away the paper with all my notes on it.

TOP FIVE CHALLENGE:

Each player must submit to me 4 separate NCAA Football lineups consisting of:

1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 Team

Each lineup must consist of players from only one conference.
You could have more than one lineup consisting of players from the same conference, but no player can be in more than one lineup.
You can only use players/team from one team per lineup.
You can only use players from games starting at noon EST Saturday or later.

In the end, you will only be using two of these lineups for the challenge.  The two you use will randomly be chosen by two other players in the game.

You will need to send me your 4 lineups by noon est on Friday.  I will then send out sitemails to the 2 players at random and ask them to each give me top option and a 2nd option of which lineups to eliminate (just in case both pick the same lineup as their top and I don't have to keep sending sitemails all day).  Players will have til Saturday at noon to get me their choices.

We will take the total points for your 2 lineups to get your total score.

Lowest scoring player will go to elimination challenge.
Top two scoring players will vote from the 3rd + 4th place to send someone else in.

As an advantage for finishing with the best kill pick entry in the last challenge, stevedotdec will have the following advantage: he will get to have 3 lineups, and we will take the score of his best 2 lineups for his total.

You will not now who is picking off your lineups until after.

Scoring will be as follows:

6 points for all TDs
1 point for every 25 yards passing
1 point for every 10 yards rushing
1 point for every 10 yards receiving
50 points if your team wins
2 points for every point your team scores

No decimals or rounding of yards(ex 94 yards rushing=9 points)

TB1: Total yards rushing by Alabama
TB2: Total yards receiving by Michigan State
TB3: Order received

PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

So do I have to submit picks this time?
10/23/2014 1:38 AM
Can we only use D-1 schools, or are all divisions legal?

D-1 only.

thebish wins the elimination challenge 85-102 (no reason to multiply by 5 with you both doing the same side of the challenge)

Looks like Infante was the key as he had 2 extra base hits and only saw 7 pitches, so he ended up with a negative number

Good luck to the final 5

By D-1 is that FBS or can we use FCS as well is since it is still considered D-1?

FBS or FCS are allowed

Slight typo on the scoring part that shouldn't change pick too dramatically. It should be 2 points per offensive point by team, not 5. Anyone that has submitted picks feel free to edit
