SOTF: Winner Announced Topic

I've updated the results above, not sure about steve's results but I have:

Team C with 11
Team D with 9
Team B with 7
Team A with 5

I haven't scored the Escobar POs and assists, waiting for official stats to come out today on that.

The Oregon sacks showed 4 yesterday but only 3 today, that's the difference in the numbers.
10/3/2014 2:56 PM
Official results:

Team C: 20 points
Team D: 19 points
Team B: 19 points
Team A: 15 points

Team C is safe and they must vote either stevedotdec, amorak, gmc_sierra, or tropicana into the challenge.  Votes are due by tonight at 10pm.

10/4/2014 12:01 PM
Here are the results.  Challenge will be posted right after.

Amorak had 2 votes against him, so he is in.  He will be facing...

Pokerdonk.

2legit and pokerdonk had all 3 QBs the same, so it went to WRs.  Jones, Harper, and Nelson were picked by both, so it came down to:

Patterson and Sharp for 2legit
Quick and Allen for pokerdonk

Patterson only had 8 yards, but Sharp came up with a big 173 yard game.
Quick and Allen only combined for 122.

ELIMINATION CHALLENGE:

On Monday both National League series will be playing game 3.

We will be doing a draft for player to create a lineup of:
1 C
1 1B
1 2B
1 3B
1 SS
3 OF
1 SP
2 RP

Position eligiblity is based on one of two things: either they must start game 3 at that position, or it must position they played the most games at during the regular season.

You will have 100 points to disbute among the 8 positions. Whoever has the most points at that position will get their #1 pick. Must assign as least 3 to each position and if there is a tie, I'll give it submits first.  For OF and RP, after the first pick, I'll draft the players snake style.

For all positions but OF and RP, you will just need to give me 2 players.  For OF, give me 6, for RP, give me 4.

We will use your lineups to accumulate stats roto style.

The categories in play are:

Hits
Runs
RBIs
SBs
Saves
Strikouts (pitching)
ERA
WHIP
Errors (lower amount wins category)

Whoever wins most categories survives, loser is out.

Tiebreakers:
1) Pick the winner of the Seahawks/Team from Washington
2) Total points in MNF game
3) Yards rushing by Seahawks
4) Order received

Challenge due by 4pm EST
10/4/2014 8:36 PM (edited)
For the best kill pick and an advantage for the next challenge:

stevedotdec
nyaggie
thebish
amorak

all had the same QBs that totals 719 yards

so we went to WRs:

thebish had 235 yards
stevedotdec had 294 yards
amorak had 401 yards
nyaggie had 409 yards

so nyaggie will have the advantage in the next challenge

Well damn good luck on my part since I spent somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes on the challenge.

This has been a fun game and all, but I for one would like to see more stuff. For example, I think you should post the bids for positions and the players listed- that kind of stuff is interesting to me. Also I would like not just an announcement of who did what in kill picks but the actual picks posted. That is the stuff I would really like to see posted on this forum. I know it would take a bit more work but it would be nice to see.

Thru the first game:

Amorak has 5 categories
Pokerdonk has 2 categories
2 categories are tied

Obviously everything comes down to the 2nd game.

Didn't realize people wanted these, I would be happy to post.  For the kill picks, I made the decision early on to not reveal the results until the votes were in.  Because of that, I felt by the time we revealed the kill pick losers, most people probably wouldn't care about the actual picks.  You live and learn.

I have the following calculations:
amorak wins runs, strikeouts, WHIP, saves
I win hits, RBI, SB, ERA, errors

I win challenge 5-4.

Hope that's right.
