I have to agree with Tooslim. Especially his last paragraph. People unwilling to put in the time to get better won't put in the time regardless of how simple the interface is.
I also believe in teaching nuclear physics to 1st graders. Just because they don't understand fundamentals, that shouldn't preclude us from putting them against veteran coaches with hundreds of seasons under their belt.

I would be more willing if i could take my vision to DII with me. I took 3 all SIM teams to a point where they have good vision and i now have good recruiting classes. I just don't want to spend 3-5 seasons building up my vision again.

So in response to Orioles comment on here this sounds like Another UPDATE to fix what I've created to be the annoying Air Raid Offense Targeting one player 100% of the time. Hence why the fatigue is being implemented only took them 5 months of me exploiting the hell out of it for better or for worse you guys can all thank you me for the change lol. As one of those " players exploiting the game"

I must say they're a half dozen very well written and comical posts in this forum thus far. Tooslim, ddingo and examiner come to mind as all very funny, Rubinski on a serious note.

1) They're dumbing down DIII. It won't be as difficult to even get started. But will you understand why your team is winning or losing?

2) you still face an overwhelming interface at DII. Will newbies from D3 be ready for DII?

3) changes to practice plan and depth chart pages that could be improvements - but playbooks and formations are not.

4) a brief mention of fixing all major bugs without any specifics. All we know for sure is that they are trying to lure more new coaches.

This looks like a marketing driven decision and thought process - not a realistic and sincere effort to really improve the game itself.

2chair- As all small companies when purchased by large companies this is the only thing that matters it looks like this $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This is just to pump some money in. The coaches that move up to D2 will need to spend 3-4 seasons ($$$$$$$ for fox) setting up their teams after spending 4++++ seasons in D3 doing the same thing.
Next update in 3 months, D2 coaches will have to move up again so fox can replenish their bankroll again.

Yes,but to FOX, WIS looks like this $. Why would they spend a lot of development money on something that they already got their main asset from? However much we all whine, it ain't going to change much. They will just keep throwing small doggie treats out to us every now and then to keep us interested, and to keep a few bucks flowing in. If we all leave, it ain't going to bankrupt them.

I'll keep playing but can we simply refer to the divisions as D-IA, D-IAA, D-II and D-Socialism?

This is the key...fix this complex interface for everyone....not just newbies.

It's only been 94 seasons at Norwich

D3 has always been the most fun, especially if you are limited with the amount of time you can put in.

They have always been:
D1A - The competitive imbalance league where certain schools (14 Elites such as the fine fine Nebraska program) have hard-wired advantages over the people they compete with in Division with no playoffs

D1AA - The league where your top recruits likely will end up signing as backup plans at DIA

DII - The most balanced division via money per scholarship, playoffs and competitive balance, that no one ever plays at

DIII - The most populated division where veteran coaches stay for rivalries and let's face it because it is the easiest to succeed at once you get ahead.

If the Veteran coaches all move to DII, then DII would be the most filled level, and it would be the most fun if you like playoffs. (If you prefer Bowls DIA is still the best, and it obviously features the best competition) It's never going to happen, though. People will not fill DII ever.

Of course, back in version 1.0, DIII was always filled to capacity.

And for the record, I am not ddingo, but I think that it is easier to win titles from Elites (Have two from Alabama, one at Florida, one at USC and one at Texas) than it is to win National titles in DIII for me.

I am confident that ddingo could win them easily anywhere.

I find DIAA to be the easiest to win at for me, especially in the Ivy League.
