Options is back and took over Marshall. We are now looking for 2 coaches previously with D1 accounts to take over UAB and East Carolina. UAB has a stacked returning roster that looks prime for at least a S16 run. 

Seriously -- UAB has a terrific team in place. I'll throw in an extra season up front.

C-USA has one team available -- East Carolina. They are a perennial postseason team, and the conference has a ridiculous $41K in postseason cash after some nice deep runs by several schools. (Including options/acn coaching my Marshall squad to a national championship … not that I have any regrets .)

I was really tempted - just won the NC at D2 Rupp and was looking for a new school - but not surprisingly, I'm not qualified. Not enough seasons at D2. Anyway, kudos on doing this, girt.

Maybe time for you to pull a MJ girt, and come back for a couple for a couple of seasons. 

We dropped the ball this season and didn't bump this thread until the last day. We will try to get it bumped sooner next season.
CUSA was once again the #1 RPI conference in Rupp.... (for about the 10th straight season), and we again have more recruiting cash than any other conference.
We have averaged $470,000 per season the last 4 seasons... that comes out to $39,166 per team.
It appears the reports of our demise may have been a little premature.
