2013-14 Player Watch Topic

Just looking at some of the good players (potentially) available for next season;

Usual suspects: Lebron (eFG .634 with 32.9 usage wow), Wade (highest eFG in career .555 if he can stay healthy), Durant, CP3, Dwight Howard
Newcomer for draft league first round pick: Paul George

Others:
Andre Drummod
Demarcus Cousins (if he can get his eFG up a little)
Kevin Love
DeAndre Jordan

For those who don't know, here is the website I used

I am seeing Lebron @ 29.2 usg.  Still a deadly season of course, but should note his TOV% is up and AST% is slightly down.

you mentioned Love -- he is working on his best year. Could be:  28%usg, 52%efg, 200 3PM, 12-15% Ast, 40% Creb...but his Def might stay at 30

Oops your correct about LeBron looking at the wrong stat. Yeah Love is having a monster year plus according to the stats he's playing a little defense also..according to basketball reference he's right now 102. Which is not bad..

Not a top of the line guy, but if Matthews continues shooting the ball the way he is, he'll be gold in the SIM, with it's love of 3s.

Yeah another one like that is Kyle Korver shooting an insane .672 eFG with 67% of his shots being 3s.  I doubt he will be able to sustain this but we will see..

ughh...ill hate it if spencer hawes becomes a relevant sim player....hes got a nice combo of dreb% and 3s right now...hopefully he falls off(but not until after hinkie is able to get some trade value for him)

And how they work it here DH he'll be 98% at SF....

Andrew Bogut looking solid.. 62% efg 11.3 orb 28.9 drb

oh my gracious

Also should mention Stephen Curry his eFG% is pretty much the same as last year at this point, so his is amount of 3 pointers.   But his ast% is up about 25%, his usage is up to 28.2% (making him a tier 2 scorer) and defense rating is at a 101 so far, way better than last years 107.

I submit for consideration Bismack Biyombo.. remember he is 99% at SF 100% at PF and C (in his two available seasons atm). Looks like a great Rodman backup at SF..

So far this season (he is on pace for about 1500 minutes I think)
9.5 usg
63.4 efg
8.6 orb
28.3 drb

now his blck and stl are a bit down from prior years so his D may drop a bit from the 65/74 he had previously but should be around 60 still.

i wouldn't be suprised if biyombo's D was even higher next year... the bobcats have somehow been phenomenal on D this year

Bogut is more than solid this year.

Scoring is up, OReb is up, DReb is up, CReb, is up, Fouls are down, and then there is the 60% shooting. Plus his defense should be at least 80 unles she gets screwed like Marc Gasol did last year.

On Kevin Durant

Right now he's at 32.2% usage, if he can get to 32.5% usage I believe you can justify him being a top 5 pick in draft leagues.  Currently he's 56.8 eFG (64.5 TS%) 2.4 OREB% 19.1% DREB 26.7% assist (but this will be nerfed to to around 18%) 12.6% TOV.

I believe this is better than Jordan best SIM year, not including defense.  Which not sure where he will land on that

I haven't seen the #'s yet..but Blake Griffin & DeAndre Jordan are the pairing from hell...
