Any chance of getting this added? The 4-2-5 configuration leaves something to be desired...

Probably not in this update, but one of the philosophies I had in rewriting the engine was to replace all of the "if 4-3, then ..." code that referenced specific formations and use a more general logic of looking at what players are on the field and what their roles are.  The benefit of doing it this way is that once everything is in working shape, it should be easier to add new formations, just needing to set up their configuration as in what each slot's position is and what options they have in their roles.  I think once we get the engine and new settings more solid after the beta and after it is pushed out live, we can review new formations on offense and defense.

Funny, before the GD 2.0 update, the Nickel was 3-3-5, and people were saying that IT left something to be desired, so it was changed to 4-2-5.

With the old 3-3-5, you didn't get much of a pass rush, but with the new engine, you can set an LB to blitz and make up for that extra DL. With the 4-2-5, however, you can have an all-american ILB, and if you're playing a heavy pass team, he will hardly ever see the field. It sort of leaves a hole in your game-plan for other coaches to exploit.
