maybe somehow tie in player growth to quality of oppoennt?

conference play is somewhat out of our control, but it could have the effect of tending to make confernces more full of humans, as playing human coached good teams will make every elses teams in that confernce better, like the SEC sorta. its tough to get out of SEC, and the #6 team might be able to give another conference champ a run for its money, but yadaq yada

for mostly suck/sim conferenfecs would challenge coach to play toughet OOC.
like boise in the old wac, they couldnt control how much their conference sucked, but they went out and played the big boys.

and to be clear, im not saying entirely base player growth on SOS, just have it be a component or maybe a bost to play better teams.
