Yes, in progs (and in all multi-season theme leagues) you can sort stats by career and single-season leaders.
I would assume you have to be a part of the prog in order to have access to that info? Or am I wrong.

Some of his batting records have recently been broken, but in the JCP World, Eddie Murray owned the record book for quite a while.  In that world he would have been a first ballot HOF'er, and would be spoken of in Gehrig-like tones.

In my original progressive league, which is going into it's 29th season, Eddie Murray owns most of the batting records. The records are slightly tainted though as the first six seasons (1969-1974) aren't included in the stats as those seasons were played prior to the site keeping track of stats for progressive leagues.

JCP... Richie Zisk holds the dubious record of committing 339 errors (and 58 - plays) in just 456 career games.

Guilty as charged. Man for some reason, I loved that dude..... So much for DH playing 1b/Lf.

Meh, I had fun and am still having fun, as the JCPP started in 1980 and we are still going strong as we head into the 2K draft....!

Just to give you some comparison, here are our stats.  We actually started in 1980, but only have the career stats for 1983 on.  Too bad I can't sort for the same decades to compare.  Our career pitching numbers are higher, but the single season pitching, and all the batting stats are similar, and slightly lower in some cases.  We will be starting again in 1962, so it's too bad someone can't post the 1960s and 1970s!

Real Life Progressive (1983-2011)

WINS -- 391, Greg Maddux (31, 1994 Greg Maddux)
LOSSES -- 256, Jamie Moyer (27, 1985 Bret Saberhagen, thanks to a lousy former owner)
SHUTOUTS -- 42, Greg Maddux (9, 1987 Mike Scott)
SAVES -- 534, Mariano Rivera (57, 1984 Bruce Sutter)
INNINGS -- 5487, Greg Maddux (334, 1985 Mike Witt)
STRIKEOUTS -- 5375, Roger Clemens (382, 1986 Mike Scott)
ERA -- 2.88, Nolan Ryan (1.47, 1995 Greg Maddux)

HITS -- 3728, Tony Gwynn (285, 1994 Tony Gwynn)
DOUBLES -- 800, Craig Biggio (73, 1990 Jody Reed)
TRIPLES -- 146, Brett Butler (30, 1996 Lance Johnson)
HOME RUNS -- 771*, Barry Bonds (86*, 1999 Mark McGwire)
RUNS -- 2999, Bary Bonds (198, 1996 Barry Bonds)
RBI -- 2747, Barry Bonds (216, 1998 Mark McGwire)
STOLEN BASES -- 1354, Rickey Henderson (166, 1985 Vince Coleman)
AVG -- .355, Tony Gwynn (.429, 1999 Larry Walker)
OBP -- .459, Barry Bonds (.606, 2004 Barry Bonds)
SLG -- .615, Barry Bonds (.870, 1998 Mark McGwire)

We have no DH in our league.  Edgar Martinez holds the record of 505 errors (next highest is Tejada at 298), so you can factor that into your HOF consideration.
