Since the Hall of Fame balloting was announced today, I'd like to try something new. Let's draft Hall of Famers.
After randomizing the order, we will begin drafting from a pool of all Hall of Fame players, whether elected by the BBWAA or the Veteran's Committee. This draft will go 3 rounds regarding players, and the order will go 1-24, 24-1, 1-24. Round 4 will go 24-1 and will be a draft of players on the 2012 BBWAA ballot who were not selected (ie-everyone on the ballot except Barry Larkin, who's now a HoFer). We will call that 25th player, from round 4, your protest vote. Each HoFer selected and each Protest Vote will be exclusive and cannot be on any other team's roster.
Once you draft your HoFer, you can use any of his WIS eligible seasons. You will then pick any 7 teammates of his from any time of his career, but then you get to twist each of those teammates to any season of each's career. (So if you take Tony Gwynn, and want you use Gary Sheffield as a teammate, then you can choose any season of Sheff's career).
110 Million Dollar Cap. Use a Stadium that someone on your roster called home during the season you select. No AAA, WW, Trades, Live Requirements, or Injuries. Yes to DH (because Edgar Martinez is one of the Protest Votes).
