Can someone awnser this disparity? Topic

Okay this team is currently 23-7 on the road but 13-22 at home. I play at a totally neutral home park, Whatifsports Park.

Here is the team below. My question is how can this disparity happen? I could understand if my park was a pitchers park or a hitters park and picked the wrong stadium, but in a neutral park, shouldn't i at least be a .500 at the worst when im so good on the road? Can someone see what it could be?

Here are some thoughts:

1. It's only 30 games... give it a little more time to even out.
2. Do you opponents have - HR fields?   It seems that is what your team is built around.
3. Did you play anyone throwing games early in the season?

GL!

I'd ask if your opponents have + Hr parks. Maybe your HR built team is doing it's thing on the road, but your foes see how lopsided your club is and set their pitching staff so their low HR/9 guys are facing you when they play at your park. I've built teams like yours before and to be succussful, i feel they have to play their home games in parks like the new yankee stadium, Tiger, AFC, or Wrigley. You need to have a couple of high OBP guys in the lineup so the big bangers have somebody to drive in.

Ask me again at the end of the season.

This was one of the other 260.  I agree with Mr. Lips and TJ... sample size is too small to even consider the 10-game differential a disparity yet.  Could happen for any reason or no reason.
