Why does everyone who finds out something new about this game immediately assume it's a bug?

Seems that DITR pitchers get an additional pitch.

It's easier to assume bug than intended outcome.

It's the last series of the year and you are well over the MWR, what is more important to you, respect via a better record or a better draft pick?

If you're asking if I'd throw the series, it would depend on who I was playing.   If it has no effect on the playoff races, I'm playing my call-ups.

That was my final series in Coop after I'd clinched the 2 seed and was playing a 77-82 team.   You won't find anyone out of position but SS was the only full-time player I used.  My 4-5 starters pitched 160-161 while a LR pitched 162.    I didn't throw the games but I didn't play to win them either.   The previous series was against a team fighting for a WC.  I threw my 1-2-3, used non-fatigued starters and won 2 of 3.    None of that affected my draft position but, if I had been the 77-82 team, I'd have used the same line-ups.

batting eye - 74

obviously it depends on the park, the league and other factors, but in general what would you expect from a player with those ratings?

okay, how about for a pitcher with these ratings?
stamina - 82
control - 89
vsL - 80
vsR - 80
velocity - 68
GB/FB - 67
P1 - 83
P2 - 70
P3 - 54
P4 - 48
P5 - 40

How important do you find velocity and GB/FB to be? Do pitches 4 & 5 really make much difference?

That's a very good pitcher.    GB/FB isn't a big deal unless you're in a +HR park.   Vel is your D is bad.    Pitch 4-5 matter for starters.   Obvioulsy  1-2 are the most important. 

How many cycles does it ordinarily take for a first overall draft pick to decide between becoming a prolific, dominant ace SP who will likely get a max contract someday and lacing up the skates to play ice hockey?
