hitting ratings aside, what defensive ratings would you live with in your rf?

I can't really put hitting ratings aside because I use 2/27/64/65 guys out there if they hit well enough.    From a pure defensive standpoint, I used to want 70 across the board.

As a RH hitter, you're probably getting it.  .800 OPS, maybe a little better depending on pitching/parks in your world.

As a SH, somewhere in the .750 OPS range. 

Mike, one of my worlds is currently in the FA/Coach negotiation period. Are there set times when updates from agents are sent out? Or perhaps a set amount of time after making an offer that you get an update. I've never really paid that much attention, but a new owner asked and I want to help him out.

What if it was an arm injury?

Depends on position.   If range matters, 60 day DL.   If it doesn't, meaning he's a C/1B/RF or, to an extent 3B, I slap him on the 7 day and get him back in the game.   Same applies to arm.

Nine games left in the season, just clinched a wild card spot.  Will likely be playing in the opening round.

One of my SPs also just went down for 16 days.  If I calculate correctly he won't be eligible to come off the DL till Game 4 (if there is a Game 4).

Is he now automatically off my playoff roster for the first round?  If I leave a spot open can I add him at Game 4?  If I get to the second round can I take someone else off the playoff roster and put him back on?

If you put him on the DL, he's off.    If you leave him active, you can keep him on your playoff roster.    Should you DL him, you can take him off and add him between rounds.
