We'll be OK until all the regulars are back.

Looks like the team is playing as a team for a change. Raycroft has been stellar in relief of Luo. I think that coach V needs to play Ray more often and cut back on Luo's time. As much as I like having Luo on the team he seems a little selfish when it comes to ice time.

Luo....do what right for the team and quit trying to carry the team. You are a big part of our team but not the only part.

Leave the 12 year guy on the bench? What a waste of money!

The New York Rangers-Vancouver Canucks brouhaha in the third period of Tuesday night's game has members of the Rangers facing discipline from the NHL.

As expected, forward Dane Byers has automatically been suspended for one game, and head coach John Tortorella is being fined $10,000.

Byers was originally assessed an instigator penalty in a fight with Vancouver's Tanner Glass in the final five minutes of the game (18:50 of the third period) and will miss Thursday's game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Byers will forfeit $2,590.67 due to the suspension, money that will go to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund. The NHL Foundation will receive the money from Tortorella's fine.

Also, sources say Vancouver's Shane O Brien will have a disciplinary hearing for using his stick to make contact with Ranger Sean Avery while both players were on their respective benches. O'Brien gave Avery a poke and Avery grabbed the stick out of O'Brien's hand.

What really bugs me about this is that the "Emergency Assistance Fund" is really the Phoenix Coyotes.

Ok,here's the plan we all build up Nickhead as a great hockey super mind, dont laugh,..he can marry a Sutter, get into the organization..nepitism rules in Calgary..get into Sutter's ear about Luongo and his 86%sv being the next saviour...we cant let Sutter see him reading his "hockey for dummies" book though..eventually with enough prodding Sutter will make us a offer we cant refuse..Glencross and 1st rd pick and all Canuck nation will have that 12/yr anchor removed and we can all move on..thanks Nickhead...jeez just thinking of a Sutter women at 45 makes me shudder, keep a lot of paper bags and duct tape handy Nick..

If Nickhead was a NFL GM he would probably trade a 1st rd pick for a quarterback with 45.0 passing rating

or a .190 slugger in the majors with 250 strikeouts

or a 23% Fg rating for a point guard 43% freethrow rating

Luongo's save % is the *****,do you realize that if he was JUST average in the early games that the CAnucks would be smoking the H1N1 Flames right now?,and you want to bet Delta or Juskay if the Canucks make the playoffs? you do realize ,when that bottle is away from your lips that if Luongo gets back to average the Flames have no chance? just average thats all he needs to get back to,he's the ***** right now and the Canucks are still beating the H1N1 Flames?....drink up skip

lol... you still make me laugh... dont be jealous, the bet is open to you as well

It would be great to see Luigi out for an extended period of time like last year... if you guys win this time, it would shut me up about the solo team
11/4/2009 9:42 PM
I dont want to take your money Nickhead, thats a bad bet.. your solo team thing doesnt fly ,unfortunately your the only guy who thinks Luongo is the team, its irrelevent if we shut you up or not, we just throw you a ball and you go play for hours laughing gleefully while the adults converse about important subjects

Porn works better... that can occupy me for days

If you don't want my money, how about one of my sheep... trained em real well, but if you want something exciting to spice things up, the donkey punch still works

Nickhead must be on the fish oil lately? nothing getting him riled up..someone mustve givin him some B.C. bud...or he found a really tight sheep?...Donkey punch? that works great for the Strawberry swirl...you can imagine ? or do you need me to be more graphic?

Canucks are a good team with decent goaltending, which they didnt get earlier in the season
11/5/2009 11:59 PM
Another solid effort by the team tonight. We may have played more games then other teams but 7-3 in the last ten speaks lots.
