Game 112: Milwaukee walks nine batters, and the Wolverines collect 17 hits; it's a bad recipe and it leads to a 14-3 rout in favor of Detroit.
Game 113: Back on the road again, Milwaukee falls a run short in St. Louis, 5-4, getting the tying run to second with one down in the ninth but failing to advance it from there.
Game 114: Bill Madlock homers, doubles, and drives in five runs while Andy Van Slyke drives in four, and the Riders overcome a poor start from Frank Viola to beat the Cardinals 10-7.
Back home to face Kansas City and St. Louis, then a trip to Kansas City to close out interleague play.
