WhatIfSports.com is pleased to present its third widget, a tool that can be placed on blogs, MySpace pages, Facebook applications, personal homepages or downloaded to a desktop. This particular widget allows anyone (no registration needed) to choose any two teams from our MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, College Football (CFB) and College Basketball (CBB) database and simulate a game using the most up-to-date version of our free SimMatchup technology.
You can see the widget below. It will also appear on the right side of the Beyond the Boxscore pages at all times. We are currently in the development of even more widgets for content and free features. Our widgets are currently found on this page. Information on how to download or add these widgets is below.
And do not forget that you can get even more out of SimMatchup with free Dream Teams. Build teams of your favorites from history in any sport, including the recently added College Football, and play games against your friends, other created teams or real-life teams.
- To add a widget to your desktop - Click on the Get button in the top, right corner of the widget and then on the Yahoo Widgets icon. You must have the Yahoo Widgets platform to do this. If you have Vista, you can clik on the Vista icon to download the widget to the Vista Widgets Sidebar. These widgets will update automatically every time we update them.
- To add a widget to your MySpace Page - Click on the Get button in the top, right corner of the widget and then on the MySpace icon. This will prompt you to Copy Code and then take you directly to your profile by clicking Edit Profile. After adding the code to your site, the widget will appear on your page and update automatically every time we update them.
- To add a widget to any other page - Click on the Get button in the top, right corner of the widget. Select the applicable page. The Embed icon should support just about any page that does not explicitly appear on the menu. You will then be prompted to Copy Code. You may paste this code wherever necessary on the applicable page, if it is not automatically put on the site by the widget. After adding the code to your site, the widget will appear on your page and update automatically every time we update them.
